Account Manager

Based in Accrington, System Hygiene is one of the North's leading distributors of cleaning, hygiene, safety and workwear products. Celebrating over 37 years of excellent customer service, System Hygiene has been a trusted supplier to many of the region’s business customers, schools, restaurants, hotels and sports venues. With year-on-year growth, we are now looking to add talented Account Managers to our growing team. 

As an Account Manager, you will be required to have regular telephone sales contact with existing and lapsed customers, based in our Accrington head office. It is essential to have good spoken English, a fun bubbly personality, the ability to build good relationships with our customer base which includes business customers, schools, restaurants, hotels and sports venues.

 

As an Account Manager, your role will include:

  • Keeping regular contact with existing accounts by telephone.
  • Re-establishing contact with lapsed accounts to regain their business.
  • Occasionally calling new potential accounts where opportunities exist.
  • Increasing sales and customer satisfaction across the accounts you manage.
  • Handling incoming enquiries and responses.
  • Accurately entering account information into the company database.
  • Achieving individual targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and abilities:

  • previous account management experience — or the aptitude to succeed.
  • the ability to understand customer needs and identify sales opportunities
  • excellent time-management and be able to juggle multiple workloads
  • some experience in using a CRM system and strong IT skills.
  • a polite telephone manner
  • good written and spoken skills
  • a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service with their accounts.

Delivery Driver/Warehouse Operative

Due to continued business growth, we are looking to recruit a reliable, friendly and experienced delivery driver/warehouse operative to join our busy team based in Altham, Lancashire. Full UK driving licence essential. Immediate start.

 

About the role:

We are looking for a new delivery driver/warehouse operative to join our small and very close knit team. Duties will vary from delivering goods to our customers throughout the North West whilst also supporting the warehouse with picking duties, van loading etc. on your return. We pride ourselves on professionalism, punctuality and unbeatable customer service, which has gained us a fantastic reputation throughout the North West. In this role, you will be in constant contact with customers so we expect you to be smart, professional and display first-class communication skills under all circumstances. We will carry out an employment check, DBS check and arrange training on our systems. You will be driving a van from our fleet which you will be expected to maintain in good order at all times. Duties would include:

  • Making deliveries and collections.

  • Loading and unloading vehicles.
  • Picking and packing customer orders.

Working Hours:

Mon-Fri, 40 hours per week, between 8am-5pm, full-time.

Graphic Designer

System Hygiene are looking to recruit a Graphic Designer to manage the creative, production and delivery of our print and digital design. Working alongside our management team, you'll craft a wide array of design work for print and digital media. Projects are vast and varied, including catalogues and sales materials, website design and development, motion graphics, video-editing, email design, social media artwork, brand identity design and so much more. You will receive first-rate training and opportunities for career progression in our ever expanding business.


Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manage the production of material from creative brief to final print and delivery.
  • Design and artwork a range of materials within brand guidelines.
  • Produce digital creative for our website, e-commerce and social media platforms.
  • Proof read materials to ensure all information is presented accurately.
  • Take photography for products for the website, events and PR.
  • Manage the image library.
  • Coordinate with printers to obtain the best price and on-time delivery.
  • Liaise with Management, Sales and Purchasing teams regarding promotions.
  • Assist with marketing requests.


Skills:

You should have confidence and experience in working with a range of creative tools for creating content across print and digital platforms. You’ll also be curious and enthusiastic to expand across a range of new and exciting technologies.

Essential Skills:

  • QuarkXPress.
  • Adobe Photoshop.
  • Adobe Acrobat Pro.
  • Creating press-ready print files.
  • Digital photography skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication.
  • Organised, self-disciplined with a positive, collaborative attitude.
  • Ability to deliver a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Desirable Skills or Willingness to Learn:
  • Adobe Suite including: InDesign, Illustrator, After Effects, Premier Pro, XD.
  • An understanding of HTML and CSS.
  • Mailchimp Email Marketing Service.

Working Hours:

The role is offered on a full-time or part-time basis to suit the applicant, working Monday to Friday, between the hours of 8.30am-5.30pm. The successful candidate should be able to work in a shared office space for a balanced approach to teamwork and creativity.


Salary:

£20,000–£28,000 DOE. 29 days annual leave (incl. bank holidays). Pension scheme.
