System Hygiene was established in 1984 and has successfully grown to become one of the UK’s leading suppliers and distributors of hygiene, catering, work wear and safety products.

Due to continued business growth, we are looking to recruit enthusiastic, reliable and hardworking staff in two fantastic roles: Telesales Executive (FT/PT); and Sales Administrator (Sales Order Processing) (FT/PT),  

 

  

1. Telesales Executive (Full Time or Part Time)

Due to continued business growth, we are looking to recruit enthusiastic, reliable and hardworking individual sto make outbound sales calls to new and existing business-to-business customers.

Your role will involve dealing with new and existing customers on a daily basis, establishing their requirements and selling appropriate products to deliver long term growth opportunities for the business. 

Managing inbound and outbound calls smoothly from start to finish, you will be responsible for providing a flawless service that includes anything from handling general enquiries to working closely with other departments to make sure customer orders are processed correctly.

As a Telesales Executive, your role will include:

  • Managing client relationships to maximise business and margins.
  • Working with current and lapsed clients to generate return business and increase levels of purchase.
  • Identifying market opportunities and developing plans to capitalise on them.
  • Responding to, and following up on, sales enquiries and leads by telephone.
  • Calling current, lapsed and prospective customers acting upon leads and commercial information.
  • Negotiating rates in line with pricing policy to maximise margin and optimise loyalty from clients.
  • Recording information accurately and consistently on an in-house CRM system.
  • Communicating with colleagues and engaging support when needed.
  • Being an strong company ambassador at all times.

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and abilities:

  • Experience of Account Management is desirable although full training will be given.
  • Excellent telephone sales skills; be confident working towards targets and deadlines.
  • Be focused, proactive, positive, committed and be able to work well under pressure.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a ‘can do’ attitude and ability to build and nurture customer relationships.
  • Effective organisation skills, particularly in the management of multiple customers.
  • Tenacious and committed to succeed.
  • Able to work with cross functional teams and build strong internal relationships.

  • £15,000 - £20,000 per year salary (pro rata for part-time hours)

Hours

Monday – Friday, worked typically between the hours of 8am-5.30pm, with actual hours to suit candidates.

Management Supervision  

You will report to the Sales Manager who will be able to train you effectively in the areas required.

2. Sales Administrator - Sales Order Processing (Full Time or Part Time)

System Hygiene are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, reliable and hardworking SOP Operative to support a busy and friendly sales office. Full-time or Part-time hours.

You will have a varied role, including:

  • sales order processing
  • answering calls and e-mails
  • supporting the sales team
  • assisting with administration
 
Person Specification

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and abilities:

  • Good numerical, literacy and IT skills including Excel & Word.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • The ability to work within a very busy but friendly office environment.
  • Clear and confident telephone manner.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Flexible approach to business and customer needs.
  • Customer-focus.
  • Well-organised with strong attention to detail.
  •  Able to produce consistent results to daily deadlines.
Previous experience is not essential as full on-the-job training will be given.

Hours

The role is offered on a full-time or part-time basis. Working hours for both options are fully negotiable to suit the candidate. The working week runs Monday to Friday. Full-time hours are to be taken typically between 8.30am-5.30pm. Part-time hours are to be taken typically between 8.30am-1pm, or 1pm-5.30pm.
