Hyndburn Business Awards 2019 ended with a glittering ceremony attended by over 300 local businesspeople and dignitaries at Accrington Town Hall on June 18th.

Now in their third year, the awards attracted a record 704 nominations and a cheer went up when Accrington Stanley Football Club and Accrington Stanley Community Trust were announced as joint winners of the Beacon Award.

Liam Havlin, Sales Manager, was delighted to collect a Highly Commended award on behalf of System Hygiene. Liam said: ‘What makes this recognition really special is the fact that it is the 35th anniversary for our company.”

The nod was in honour of System Hygiene’s nomination in the Apprenticeship category for the third year running.

Liam explains, “Our people make our business special. We empower our staff to reach their full potential in the most imaginative and sustainable manner. We take great steps to encourage local talent and ensure that a passion for professional achievement and personal growth is passed to the next generation.”

Many congratulations to this year's category award winner who is Rosslee Construction
