Liam Havlin System Hygiene Derian House £50 Corporate Challenge

Derian House Children’s Hospice wants 50 businesses to take £50 from the charity and turn it into much, much more. We accept the fundraising challenge! But what are we letting ourselves in for?

“All businesses big and small are invited to take part in the Derian House £50 Corporate Challenge,” enthuses Elaine Middleton, Corporate & Sponsorship Fundraiser at Derian House.

Elaine continues, “We give each business £50 and the aim of the game is for them to turn it into as much money as they can. The list of fundraising ideas is endless - businesses could have a dress-down day or hold a bake sale, enter into one of our challenge events or do a fun run. Hold a raffle or auction, set up a car wash or anything else they can think of."
The fundraising challenge will run until the end of August. Will System Hygiene raise the most and walk away with this year’s Corporate Challenge Crown?
"I don't know about that!," says Liam Havlin, Sales Manager at System Hygiene. "What I am sure of is that our support, and that of our customers, will really make a difference to the lives of children and young people in the region. Our team is raring to go with various fundraising activities already well underway."
An awards event and charity auction will be held on Thursday 5th September at the Sales Geek Bunker, Altham to reveal the total raised and to announce the winner of the Derian House £50 Corporate Challenge.
Derian House Children's Hospice is System Hygiene's nominated charity for 2019. It provides respite and end-of-life care to more than 350 children and young people across the North West. It costs £4 million a year to run the charity, more than 90% of which is reliant upon the generous donations of supporters.
